Bound to Place explores the intimate relationship between the land we inhabit and the materials we create with.
In Terra and Lara, wild clay from Lake Burrinjuck is layered over hand build forms, uniting the physical earth of home and the creative act of making.
The works stand as vessels of memory- grounded, fluid and intrinsically tied to place.
Terra is made from white stoneware clay with a clear glaze on the inside and the outside of the vessel.
She is 250mm high and 220mm wide at the widest point
