The Teapot Project

As potters we have a desire to be creative, to design, to dream and to create .
Over the last couple of months, Danielle has been doing exactly this and from this desire The Teapot Project began.
Using her pottery skills, Danielle will be focusing on the design of a range of Limited Edition Teapots.
Teapots are one of the more complicated pieces of pottery to create with up to five different components to throw on the wheel.
Each piece then has to be trimmed, dried to leather hard and attached at precisely the right time to ensure each piece of clay has the same moisture content.
If you are familiar with Danielle’s work you will know the level of effort with the details she applies to every piece of pottery she creates.
Each teapot will be unique and personally handcrafted by Danielle.They will be small teapots for a personalised experience.
There will be different glazes and different decorative designs available.
As tea lovers ourselves we can not wait to test these new designs and share the development of them with you.
We are excited to share this journey with you and will keep you updated as we progress.
We anticipate that these teapots will be for sale early this year, only on our website.

The numbers will be limited of course.
Danielle will be taking the time required to perfect these pieces to make your cup of tea a beautiful experience.
